With a MagGuts +2 spring kit, I get 15 rounds out of their 12-round mags with one in the pipe. The main physical difference is that body of the P365 FCU uses a machined casting, as opposed to the stamped sheet metal of the P320. The P365 also has a more conventional striker / firing pin safety than the one in the 320. Aug 9, 2021 · P365 at 50 yards. I shot my S&W M&P40 and Sig P365 at 43 yards last week to see if I could score hits on a head-sized target with five rounds, rapid fire. I scored 2 hits each. Last Thursday my P365 arrived at Sig Warranty Service for repair. The issue was when I pull the trigger with a live round in the chamber it did not fire. I called today for an update and was told that my P365 went into the custom shop this morning for diagnosis and repair.The P365 X-macro isn't that much smaller than the stock m18 but is definitely thinner which would help with printing. If you wanted smaller the P365X is a better option without going to a much shorter grip in the P365. And, a PMM comp can be placed on the front giving the same length as the Xmacro. ... However, my P365 is an early production model (February 2018) and aside from the dead night sights (which was fixed by Sig), I have yet to have an issue with the gun. Requirements are it has to fit in a safe like the Vaultek VT (13.7" length interior). XL should easily fit with Lunar 9 on. This base pad gives the 10-round P365 magazine the same length and profile as the factory 12-round magazine while retaining the 10-round capacity. U S Army Veteran/NRA Member.The flat faces forward in the closed position. The rear end of the guide rod rests on the takedown lever (or pin). This requires the guide rod to protrude at the muzzle by about 3/16" or the difference between flat up and flat forward. If the guide rod is stuck at the muzzle the slide will stop about where your pic shows.Here is a $2500 Sig P365X I built, includes match fit Barsto barrel, custom FCU, +P all day, one inch groups at 25 yards. I am a retired FFL/SOT gunsmith and made this BUG myself for myself. Once you have the P365 FCU anything is feasible. The only Sig OEM component here is a serialized FCU frame.The standard P365 will offer the best concealability and you can still use 12-round mags. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. This is a significant reduction, given the shape of the striker tip. The P320SC has a softer recoil impulse, but the P365 is a joy to shoot as well. ...
